Tickets

Baleal beach tickets are not required. However, if you don’t need surf lessons, you can rent a wetsuit and surfboard for self-use. Prices vary depending on the rental location, but on average:

Surf equipment rentals

  1. Rent for one day: from 10 to 20 euros
  2. Rent for one week: 50 to 80 euros.

Where to rent surfing equipment?

  1. Drop Surf Center. Surf equipment rentals start from 9 euros for 2 hours.
  2. House Beach Bar and Surf Center. A surf store and beach bar, perfect for a meal after a day of surfing.

How to get to Baleal Beach

Getting to Baleal from Lisbon is easy, fast and inexpensive. You can get there by car or bus, which takes about 1 hour. Bus schedules and ticket prices can be found on the RedeExpressos website. If you’re coming from Porto, the trip by car will take about 2.5 hours. You can also take the train or local bus #787 and #990.
